Maya Groups - Industry Standard Grouping For Blender

Why use groups?

Groups in 3D software are invaluable because they allow artists and designers to organize and manage complex scenes efficiently. Instead of dealing with dozens or hundreds of individual objects separately, grouping lets you treat multiple objects as a single unit - making it much easier to move, rotate, scale, or modify them together. This hierarchical organization also helps maintain scene clarity, as related objects can be collapsed into a single group in the outliner. Groups are particularly useful for applying uniform changes across multiple objects, managing object visibility, and creating reusable asset collections that can be easily duplicated or referenced elsewhere in your project.

Operators Below: (Pie menu can be called from both the 3d view AND Outliner)
